Best Shots Ever   RSS
These are some of the best pictures I've taken in the last 5 years. It's always amazing to me to think that after 10,000's of pictures only a few of them keep catching my eye.

Of course, I would like you to believe that each shot was set up perfectly to be a "best" picture...but usually there's a lot of luck involved. Of course having a good technique, having a good relationship with the camera/lens and a good sense of composition helps.

Enjoy and leave comments if you'd like,
Erik

This is a self picture of Anna and me with legendary ballet dancer, Alexandra Ferri (center). This is taken after her final performance at the Metropolitan Opera House in NYC after a performance of Manon with Roberto Bolle.

It's special to capture the excitement of an engagement - especially when it's your fiance.

Normally, I wouldn't give myself credit for a self taken picture. However, this lucky shot looks like a commercial for Budget rent-a-car.

Probably one of the most amazing photographic moments of my life. This is a California Condor on the rim of the Grand Canyon. The wing span is about 9 feet. I think he was looking at me too.

I mind. Your bugging me with your photographic "knowledge".

I like this shot a lot, I was looking at some of your dance shots and it's a pity that some of the surroundings are distracting to what's going on with your subject. You might try playing with the depth of field some so that your backgrounds are not as in focus as the dancers themselves

Hope you don’t mind the hint. I shot bands and represent two rock photo journalist.
