The WCS workshops at Smith's Dancing School were very well attended. WCS is alive in Westchester.

This month we celebrated Robert Abrams from www.ExploreDance.com. And his girlfriend sang a birthday song to him.

We also had Lisa Paternoster teach the fabulous crash course in Hustle. Overall, there were 90 people in attendance.

It seems like Spring is never going to arrive. We had 30 people despite a rainy Noreaster.

I got the fabulous opportunity to meet the Trumbull, CT Girl Scout Brownies so I could introduce them to dancing.

Some girls had been exposed to dance while others had very minimal exposure. I spoke with them about my background in dance and how I first got started.

I taught them some simple dance steps and the beginning of single-time east coast swing. I got to partner with each of them a little so they could get the feel of partner dancing.

It was a very rewarding experience for me as I know how important it is to expose the youth to dance as a social tool.
